Sponsoring the Nuneaton Town vs Dartford Match

It was lovely to meet Stuart in the Nuneaton Community Cafe to discuss HS2, e-cigs and the NUCKLE train line.

My ad van on Liberty way pre-match.

I was the main match sponsor at Nuneaton Town FC this weekend, and my pitch side advertising was on full display.

As main match sponsor, I was also featured in the programme.

The lads ended the season on a high, with a 3-1 win against already relegated Dartford.

6-2 to the Albion

After Worcester City on Monday night, I spent an evening at Burton Albion's Pirelli stadium last night.

I sponsor new signing Damien McCrory

I probably chose the best game to go to in the entire football league last night, as the game finished 6-2. Albion got 4 before half time and another two in the second half, but AFC put up a bit of a fight back with 2 goals before the match ended.

A night at Worcester City

We've been treated in the Midlands this week to an appearance by the sun - yes that big yellow thing in the sky. I made my way to Worcester City's pre season fixture against a very strong Aston Villa reserve side last night.

Worcester beat their visitors 3-2, and it was a thrilling match to watch. The signs look good for Worcester City in pre-season at least, and I'm hoping that this will foreshadow a fantastic season for the Blue Square North club.

Letter in the Birmingham Mail about Birmingham City Football Club

My letter to the Birmingham Mail about recent developments at Birmingham City Football club can be found on the Birmingham Mail website:

http://www.birminghammail.net/birmingham-sport/birmingham-city-fc/birmingham-city-fc-news/2012/06/28/birmingham-city-fans-have-their-say-on-peter-pannu-statement-and-lee-clark-s-appointment-as-boss-97319-31277660/

I am still awaiting any sort of reply or acknowledgment from the MPs I wrote to about football ownership. I will put these online when I receive them.

Triple Decker Football Weekend

After a busy week in Strasbourg, it was good to wind down with a football match - or three!

Pictured above is myself and Adam Walker, who is my sponsored player at Nuneaton Town FC.

I was invited to go and watch Nuneaton as a part of my sponsorship package this season, and the match on Saturday was against Colwyn Bay FC. The match ended 1-1 and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Sunday morning saw me travel to Liverpool to watch the first half of the Birmingham City Ladies Vs Everton ladies match. I would have liked to have stopped longer but Liverpool were at home this weekend!

Although I may have only managhed to catch 45 minutes of the action, I enjoyed watching Birmingham Ladies and I'm sure I'll go to one of their home fixtures in the near future.

I have very little to comment on the Liverpool match :)

Comisserations to Coventry City FC who had their relegation confirmed from the Championship to League 1. I hope that they will bounce back with an automatic promotion next season.

An evening at Burton Albion

After a busy day in Birmingham and Coventry yesterday, I spent the evening at Burton Albion FC. Burton Albion is one of the clubs where I have sponsored a player, in this case Danny Blanchett. Here is a photo of the player sponsorship in the programme:

The match ended 1-0 to Burton, which is the first win for the Brewers for quite a while.

Other good results for my teams across the Midlands included a win for Worcester who are making a late charge for the promotion places whilst Walsall beat Colchester 3-1.

To end the football and goals theme, here is the video of Peter Crouch's wonder goal from the weekend. Many of you will know that I am one of his shirt sponsors this year.

Meeting David Bell at Coventry City Football Club

After a morning in the court listening to the judge, I jumped in the car with a supporter of mine to a sponsors dinner at Coventry City football club.

After lunch with the players, I was invited to collect the shirt with my supporter who is both involved with the Meriden RAID group, aswell as being an avid Coventry City fan! Here is a selection of pictures from the day:
