Today started with many meetings with my constituents on various matters, I enjoy this type of work as it allows me to use my position to help people in small but to them very important ways.
Unusually I flew to Strasbourg today via Amsterdam as there are no direct flights from the UK. The journey takes just over five and a half hours in small planes which I find it very difficult to fold my long legs into. As per usual there was a delay but I managed to arrive in time to give the following speech on Cord Blood Stem Cells
