Another couple of days with the RAF

As a participant of the Royal Air Force Parliamentary Scheme I attended RAF Brize Norton and RAF Odiham. It was an eventful two days in which I had the opportunity to fly in a C17 and also a Channock helicopter. I also had interesting dialogue with the Station Commanders and the various ranks that provide such a valuable service to our nation.

It is incredible and humbling to see the commitment and the dedication of our servicemen and women who despite ongoing financial cuts, lack of equipment and lack of investment in their living conditions are getting on with what is required of them.
