Next came the journey to Dublin, which was broken up intermittently by stops to distribute further literature.
One such spot was the town of Naas. Despite the appalling weather, the team soldiered on. Many people we spoke to were on the way to the polling station, or told us they wanted to vote no.
The city was incredibly busy, especially with those leaving work. We managed to take a visit to the outside of the Irish Parliament buildings, along with the Labour headquarters. Labour spent alot of money promoting the yes side of this campaign, which I feel is at odds with the people it purports to represent. Every person I spoke to said the working classes were being squeezed further, and they were worried about further cuts and taxes. For Labour to say yes, it seemed at odds to what its voters wanted.
After a week of heavy campaigning, it can only be left now for the people of Ireland to decide Yes or No.
