HS2 affecting lives far beyond the West Midlands

It is not only in the West Midlands that the HS2 project will ruin lives. In London, many families will be displaced, and even Camden Council is now challenging the project in the courts as it considers previous consultations on the project to be "flawed".

HS2 is an environmental disaster in the making - it will devastate our landscape in the West Midlands, and it will make Londoners homeless.

HS2 is a part of the EU's 'TEN-T' transport project. The British Government plays down this EU aspect - even denies it - but it remains, beyond doubt, an EU initiative.
