More than two thirds of Eurocrats polled have said that it is time for the UK to make a decision - either stay, or leave the EU.

The poll, conducted by EP Newshound, an internal news service for the European Parliament, shows how frustrated the EU is with the current situation whereby Britain has one foot in, and one foot out.
Released two days ahead of David Cameron's speech on our relationship with the EU, and on the day that EP President Martin Schulz declared that renegotiation of the treaties is impossible, the message to David Cameron is clear: Britain demands an in or out referendum, and the EU wants the same.
Ahead of David Cameron’s speech on Friday, the We Demand a Referendum Party issued another warning that the Prime Minister should start listening to the people who put him there – the electorate.
In a poll conducted by YouGov in September 2012, 71% of respondents said that they did not trust politicians to work for the best interests of the UK in the European Union.
Former Apprentice star Katie Hopkins, who will stand as the We Demand a Referendum Party candidate in the South West, said “Sometimes tough questions have to be asked. The Prime Minister is simply scared of the potential answer to the question in an In or Out referendum.
We work hard here in the UK, pay our taxes, abide the laws of the country and fulfil our obligations as voters. Yet, somehow politicians continue to believe that we do not have the right to have our say on this crucial issue”.
Nikki Sinclaire, who is the We Demand a Referendum MEP for the West Midlands region adds, “Why is David Cameron so afraid of the people. Why won’t he let the people of the UK decide? Why does he patronise us with his‘I know better’ attitude.
Opinion poll after opinion poll shows that the majority of Brits now want a referendum, and now this new poll from Eurocrats themselves show that this referendum is needed now. This isn’t about being pro-European or Eurosceptic, this is simply about democracy
All we ask is for a binding In Out referendum to settle this issue once and for all. Isn’t it about time we let the people decide?”.
