Laying flowers for Baroness Thatcher yesterday

I went to Lady Thatcher's home yesterday to lay flowers for a lady who is one of my greatest inspirations. Although I accept that she is a polarising figure, she sparked political interest in me at the age of 10.

She taught me that no matter what background you came from, you could be who you wanted to be if you worked hard enough.

What struck me outside her house yesterday was the amount of young people paying their respects and laying flowers. There were also large amounts of foreign media presence - this was a lady who made a real impact world wide.
