Meeting with volunteers from the Nuneaton and North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre tomorrow

Nikki Sinclaire MEP will meet with volunteers from the Nuneaton and North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre on Thursday (5th September 2013).

The centre, which is known locally as the riding school for the disabled, is under threat because of a lease row with Nuneaton and Bedworth council.

A petition that was launched online has attracted support from local residents and the local MEP is keen to show her support to the centre that has enriched the lives of many children in the 30 years that is has been opened.

Nikki will meet with volunteers from the centre to discuss the campaign and how they move forward.

The We Demand a Referendum Now MEP said,

“It is vital that we protect local services such as these. The strength of feeling from the online petition alone shows how important this centre is to local people. If you read the comments left with the petition, you start to get a sense of how many people’s lives have been changed in a positive way because of the work being undertaken at this riding school”.
