Flooding in Lea, Herefordshire

Yesterday I travelled to Lea in Herefordshire which has been badly affected by floods. Up until Friday morning, sewers were backing up into the flood water causing real health risks.

When I arrived locals were redirecting traffic on this stretch of road. I spoke to residents who said flooding was a regular occurrence in this village.

I will return to Lea in a few weeks to make sure all is being done to restore the village and to make sure residents are able to access all offers of help or grants.
