We Demand a Referendum Now MEP
Nikki Sinclaire is to take part at a Politics Society debate at the University
of Birmingham tomorrow night (6th February 2014).
The event, titled “Government
Beyond Westminster” will discuss the politics of the Devolved Administrations,
The UK and the European Parliament, the European Commission in the UK, and the
politics of local government.
Nikki will talk about her role
as an MEP, and her Campaign for a Referendum which submitted over a quarter of
a million signatures to 10 Downing Street, re-igniting the debate on EU
membership.
Nikki said,
“I’m really looking forward to
taking part in the debate. 75% of our laws derive from the European Parliament,
and as an MEP, it is important to discuss and debate my role and the effect the
EU has on Westminster”.
