''CHILD 'SLAVES' FOUND IN WORCESTERSHIRE ARE RESULT OF POOR BORDER CONTROL

The following Press release was sent out today
West Midlands MEP Nikki Sinclaire has blamed relaxed EU border controls for the rise in human trafficking that has led to 7 Romanian child slaves being discovered working in appalling conditions in Worcestershire.
Seven children were recently discovered picking spring onions in freezing conditions last week by the Gangmaster's Licensing Authority(GLA).  Nikki Sinclaire, an independent MEP representing the region has condemned the E.U. Schengen Agreement as responsible for allowing such atrocities to occur in the United Kingdom arguing, 'The Schengen Agreement has allowed criminals, people traffickers and drug dealers to travel across thousands of miles unchecked; it has allowed camps such as Sangatte and the Jungle to develop on the other side of the English Channel, . with people living in deplorable conditions, all condoned by the French government'.
Nikki is campaigning across the country to increase border controls to prevent criminals entering the country illegally.  She states, 'We must give our border inspectors and courts greater powers to prevent this vile trade that creates so much human suffering'.
