A campaign day in Staffordshire

Stafford

While we had teams in Newcastle Under Lyme and Stoke on Trent, I visited Stafford and Stone, as well as making quick visits to Wednesbury en-route!

It was great to speak to stall holders in the indoor market, including the local butcher and an e-cig vendor who I discussed e-cig regulation with.

Outside of the market hall was a huge event with people dancing and lots of music, and it was great to talk to constituents about my role and why they should lend me their vote on May 22nd.

Stoke on Trent

The first team were already set up in Stoke on Trent and our manifesto documents were flying out. Lots of people feel disaffected by politics and want politicians who actually do something rather than just talk - so I told them that voting for We Demand a Referendum Now on Thursday May 22nd gives them that voice.

Newcastle Under Lyme

The team in Newcastle Under Lyme were incredibly busy as there was a funfair and stalls in the town centre. Many of the residents told us that they'd seen our election address and wanted our manifesto document to learn more about the party. Great to speak to so many people!
